FLORIDA!!! :D

Wed Apr 22, 2009, 12:34 PM
I'm very likely going to be visiting my aunt in Florida this summer, in June. I would be staying with her, so I won't have to pay for a hotel. :D She's old though, so she won't be able to do much. Like Disney World. -_- She thinks she's "too old." It is kind of a long drive from her house, and she is kind of old to be walking around a lot, but I might be able to convince her to go, since I would be more than willing to pay for a taxi to take us there, and I'd be happy to push her around the parks in a wheel chair (and don't they have motorized ones anyway?) Or I could just go by myself, but that would be kind of sad. Seriously, who goes to Disney World by themselves? =P She said she'd go to Sea World, and I'm thinking she might consider going to Universal, since it's really close to her house.

So...what else is in Orlando? Anyone have any suggestions as to what else we can do?

  • Drinking: not enough. I'm getting dehydrated! D:
I can't believe I haven't updated this since August. =P I've been trying to update my LiveJournal, [link] and I just got a Twitter account, [link] that I'm also trying to regularly update. I also really need to post some more art, but to be honest, I haven't taken any photos in a really long time. I haven't taken a single photo in months! :( Well, hopefully I'll take some that are good enough to post when I go to Washington DC on Monday.

And on a completely unrelated note, I'm thinking of getting a DA account for my brother. He's a set designer. For plays and musicals. Okay, so he actually hasn't done that much actually designing sets, mostly carpentry, but he did design the set for a production of "Me and My Girl" at a local high school. From scratch too. I actually just got back from seeing it. It was awesome! So, what category would photos of his sets go in? If there even is an appropriate category?

21st Birthday next month!

  • Mood: Lazy
  • Listening to: Celtic music
  • Reading: random manga
  • Watching: Young Frankenstien (Just saw the musical too!)
  • Playing: Wii Sports! (It's actually my moms wii XD)
  • Eating: beefaroni!
  • Drinking: green tea! (watered down, less sugar that way :P)
So, my grandparents rented a beach house for a week for next month. Lucky for me, my 21st birthday is next week, so get to celebrate it at the Jersey shore! Course I rather celebrate it in the Bahamas, but oh well. XD I'm so excited, even thought it's not going to be that big of a party. Just family. (cuz I have no friends in real life :P)

And on a not so pleasant note, I had a very interesting day at work today. Someone found a mouse nest....inside a printer. Soooo gross. XD It was inside one of the paper trays. Absolutely disgusting...yet completely hilarious. Well, it was at least distracting. XD Work can get very boring for me, since all I do is file. I can't decide which was the weirder "event" finding the mouse nest in the printer, or finding the life size stand up of Steve Irwin (holding a crocodile no less) behind a file cabinet, and walking around the office trying to scare people with it. XD

I have a new photo gallery at redbubble.com. If anyone is interested, here's the link: [link]

I'm only going to use this one for photos, and there are one or two photos on that website that are not in my gallery here. I'll be uploading more photos to both sites soon, since I took pictures of a lot of pretty water lilies at Longwood Gardens, in Pennsylvania.

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note:

So, I have a LiveJournal now. [link]

I'll try really hard to update it, at least more than I update this journal. You see, the problem I have is that I never have anything to say. Or I'm too shy to write anything. But I'm going to try to force myself to update it...at leas once a week.

I'll probably end up posting mostly neat/interesting/cool/funny/etc/etc/etc stuff I find on the internet, and links to products on amazon.com. (Going to join the Associates program, and hopefully make a little extra cash) :XD:

Done with school now. Actually, I've been done for a while, but am just now posting about it. I did really well this semester, much better than I thought I would. I got an A in the class I thought I was going to fail. :omg: The teacher must have given us a very generous curve, otherwise, I'm sure I would have failed. ^^;

Don't have a job yet, waiting for an email back from the hospital near where I live. I might work as a temp in Human Resources again. It's a nice job. So in the mean time, I've been wasting time on the internet, like what I'm doing now.

Okay, I think that's enough blabbering on and on for one day. =P
